Hi guys I'm going to be incommunicado for a while now, so in the meantime, a few things to whet your appetite....
As far as I know the party will be Human Fighter/Knight type dude (Kris) Elven Ranger (Stuart) Dwarf Cleric (Paul) However - you haven't met each other yet.
You could spend some time finishing off your characters. I'd like to know a few details such as preferred weapon, feats, etc.
Our story begins in the quiet farming village of Netherstone, which is in central Palthas (the area mainly occupied by humans in Jarl). The major city of Great Helm lies to the northwest, and the capital, Thrain, is to the south.
Each of you have been having increasingly vivid dreams of late. These usually feature a very old, white-bearded man who seems to be speaking to you, beckoning you.... You can't remember all the details of what he says but sometimes you can recall a few phrases upon waking. There was definitely something about 'Netherstone', and 'blind seer'.
You have decided, therefore, to visit Netherstone and see if you can find any answers....
Each of you should think about your previous life and what you were doing up to this point. But hopefully you will all decide that going to Netherstone is a good idea. If you don't - it's going to a pretty boring adventure!
I will also send you some individual info in private messages. More details will emerge later on when I've worked everything out.

Hi Guys I'm back off hols and I've been working on my campaign (instead of writing schemes of work, which I should have been doing)! Hopefully we can all make the 28th? If so we will make a start on that date. I'm going to post a few things up here and send you some individual info too. Kris - a couple of things...is there any way I can view a private message I sent? If not could you post back the message I sent you so I can see exactly what I wrote? Also, could you make a category on the message board for 'Campaign Background', so I can put some general stuff on for everyone to see? Thanks Looking forward to getting the show on the road! Steve PS Hope you don't have too high expectations of my adventure writing ability, it's pretty formulaic stuff.

On the 'messages' page (get there by clicking on the banner at the top of the page that says 'Hey, gilbo, you have ?? messages, ?? are new') in the bar at the top of the list of messages is an 'outbox' icon, click to switch between sent/received messages.

What Stuart said ...though if you have deleted it, let me know and I can always send you the message back. Next question - how do I upload an image? From the look of things (probably because this is a free message board service thingy) it doesn't look like you are able to just attach an image that will be saved on their servers So if you do want to display an image, you will probably need to set up a photobucket account (or something similar) and then just link to the image (to be honest that's what I usually do anyway). If you are unfamiliar with things like photobucket.com - they are basically a free service that allows you to upload images to the internet so that you can share them with others (you can also make your online 'album' private too ...so that it's not available to the masses) You should then be able to post a link to the image like so (by copying the image's URL): i29.photobucket.com/albums/c265/hador_goldenhead/kotc.jpg...or embed it in the post like so: However, if you don't want the hassle of all that, let me know and I'll see what I can do (perhaps I could set up a 'group' photobucket account and pass the username and password to everyone - or whatever)

Hi Kris I will send you the map I was going to put on and maybe you could post it up for me, I haven't got time to set up the account thingy at the moment.

Steve Done I've set up a new photobucket account that we can all use to upload images and stuff. If anyone wants the relevant info passing on to them, just send me a PM and I'll send a link to the login page, the username, and the password. Alternately, just send me the picture you would like to upload via e-mail or something, and I'll see to it

I'm guessing that the campaign is now on hold indefinitely?

It seems so. I will ask around and see if I can persuade anyone else to join us. Steve
