However - I claim exemption under the 1956 "play by mail" rules, which allow you to misidentify a player up to 3 times per round, as they wisely thought that playing by mail could easily lead to confusion.
And interestingly enough, those rules never got repealed, and so they are STILL in the "Standard Modern Edition (revised) (edited) (updated) (amended)" ruleset, which is what I assume we are playing, because ... - well - to be playing any other ruleset is to invite anarchy!!

Let me have a look at that rulebook! Volume 58? The Standard Modern Edition (revised) (edited) (updated) (amended) only goes up to 57!
Where did you get that?

It's in the errata section - available to fully paid up members of the Professional Players Club...
But: if you cannot reference the rule then it should be ruled invalid for this game, and so - it is Steve's turn I believe.

Dangerous play there James.... Swiss Cottage.
I believe that means Hammersmith is black for three turns.

It's not just Hammersmith - that sneaky move has inverted Camden Town AND Fulham Broadway.... very tricky...
Nothing for it: time for the old standby "get out of trouble NOW!" card of: Hounslow West.

AGAIN!!?? What are you doing man? Dollis Hill twice in a game? This sort of play hasn't been seen since the infamous 'Kensington Strand' game of '76. Earl's Court.

Have you not heard of the even more infamous Dollis Hill Loop? It first saw play in 1826. Predates the actual Underground system by some time. The Duke of Wellington got his braces caught in a revolving door...

Ah the good old days of the Napoleonic era game, when there were only 13 stops on the stagecoach route, and the rules could fit on a postcard!
And at the risk of pointless controversy... - Stockwell!

I'm sure a Triple Dollis Hill Loop was outlawed at the 2016 National Rules Convention...

That was revoked at the 2019 National Rules Convention.
