When I did the maps for the last game, I basically came up with a couple of simple dungeon layouts for the players to stock. So I was thinking ...to change things up a little, might it be better to have the players actually lay out the dungeon themselves using simple dungeon tiles? I know this might take a little longer to get everything set up (not to mention the fact that it will eat up a lot of printer ink for someone) - but since I have a bunch of tiles already designed, it's an idea I thought I would put forward (just in case it's a good one ). Anyway, here's a quick example of how you can piece them together... (click on the image for a closer look)

works for me!
and if each time spends their time putting the dungeon together and then doesn't manage to get round to stocking it with creatures then that's their problem! - should've managed their time and resources better!

I like the idea, however it does raise a couple of issues, - It makes it tricker for the Gm to make notes on what the players are putting where as he doesnt have a definative map. - Terrasque is designed as a con game so runs in about 4 hours, at the club we are probably only going to get 3 hours which means we are going to have to reduce the time people get, so adding more options is going just going to compound that.
What would be cool is if you could do fixed maps like last time, but with less rooms 10-12 ish, but also provide some seperate modular rooms so the players have the option to buy an additional room or two which they can tack on to the set dungeon.
If you have the time and are willing, giving each dungeon a feature room of some kind might be cool, but it all depends on how much time you are willing to put into this.
I really appriciate any help you are willing to give.

Hmmm... I actually have something else I'm working on (for one of my own projects) that might fit the bill nicely.
Shall I post samples of them here? or would you prefer it if I put them on my tablet and show them to you (and other potential DMs) this Thursday?
Also ...didn't we spread it over two weeks last time? (i.e. one week to build, and one week to play).

Show us on thursday mate or pm me.
I think that is what we did last time, but Marv wanted to get it done in a single session, so we can have a chat on Thursday and see what people want to do.

OK then, I've PM'd you a link to the first dungeon. ...but also provide some seperate modular rooms so the players have the option to buy an additional room or two which they can tack on to the set dungeon. I'll also include an A3 page with two small rooms (to allow players to buy extra rooms) ...which can be used like this:
