Can I make a proposal? - that all unnecessary killing of human civilians is stopped? - it only distracts us from the mission and attracts attention... - I have no idea why that fecking Doctor decided it was a good idea to kill people in the street just before we broke into that research base - but it made the whole mission much more difficult for everyone with all the dropships circling around. It pretty much guaranteed they knew we were coming and that we would fail the mission... - and I for one am not happy in the slightest at the thought of Dr Destuction being pissed off with us for having done half a mission!
And in the restaurant... - what exactly was the point of killing those people?
Well - it's kind of all sorted now that the person doing the unncessary killing is dead (and thaks to Youthanasia for that: nicely done!) .... - and notice how I don't have any kind of problem about NECESSARY killing: if someone is in the way of a mission then that's their problem, not mine.
What does everyone else think?

Yes. Yes. There was none. Your perception of what is necessary/unnecessary may differ from mine.

Fair enough: my perception on whether it would be necessary is: "do we actually have to kill this person to acheive the mission? - if not: are we happy to leave it until our free time when it would not endanger the mission?"
You happy to work with that?

that's good enough for me: if you feel you really have to off a citizen while on a mission - just let us know, yeah?

that was a fun session! Steve: any more thoughts on what your new character will be like? Kath - check out www.heromachine.com/ as a place to put together a sketch of your character - butI warn you now; it easily sucks up hours of your time! And - playing someone able to cast a spell for any power in the book is just as much fun as I thought it would be: insanely versatile at the cost of raw power is one of my favourite combos in any system!

Usually said immediately before the spectacular death scene! - did you get to that after I'd gone? - or will we play it out next week?
and I just realised - I totally forgot to spend my starting money for my new character!
I'll buy some Duraweave magicians robes than you very much - AND a bloody Z-Belt!

No we didn't do any more after you'd gone, the spectacular death scene is delayed until next time.
For my new character I have been inspired by you James, and I am thinking intangible undead with sonic powers, possibly the ghost of a well-known singer...

are you saying that you are going to play Sir Freddie of Mercury and you will blast them away with the operatic part of Bohemian Rhapsody?!
Andy: make him sing it! - or make it so that if he does sing it he gets a bonus!!

No, I was thinking of another singer, perhaps even more famous than Freddie, but still royalty.
And trust me, you wouldn't like it if I sang.
