So... - you know how we sometimes indulge in the joke that the current campaign is a TV series like Game of Thrones - and go on about how the special effects budget has all been used up on one spectacular scene?
Well - I wanted to extend that joke to quit ridiculous levels....
All this week, you have been kept off the set... - everyone knows the director has been preparing for the chase sequence - you have even filmed a few quick scenes for the trailer... - but it's now getting silly... - the director believes firmly in "method acting' and thinks you will act terrified and in fear for your life if you are in fact terrified.
Also - he has been speaking to all the special effects people and the animal and monster animatronics people - and they have gone very, very quiet... - except for the smirks and grins they direct at you during lunch... - the evil glint in their eye is not nice at all... - but it is the occasional overheard muttering of 'poor bastards - they really have no idea what he's gonna do to them" that is getting you seriously worried.
It's really unpleasant not knowing what is going to happen and that the director loves to make things as realistic as possible. You've seen a TV interview with him recently where he says "you just can't act pure pants-wetting terror: to make that believable you have to actually experience it."

I'm not putting up with this. I want more money! I'm speaking to my agent. My contract specifically states that I don't do 'method acting'. AND the fruit basket in my trailer was distinctly below par...
