So Yukio is absolutely knackered after that fight - down to 1 power point left, and she had to burn 4 spirit points in total. She isn't going to faint... - but she IS going to go all "feek and weeble" for a moment, and need Tommy to put his arm around her to help her out of the caves...

Issue 18 - "The Battle of Trafalgar2"
After the Specials had touched their crystals, their powers were increased, and they stopped losing energy. Exiting the caves, they investigated the impact site and Jo discovered that any remaining silicate had long since disappeared into the earth. Back in the town, they informed the secretary of Forza's fate and returned to the mainland. After resting overnight in a hotel, they travelled back to England.
They checked in with Major Stoke at the army base, and he wanted them to remove Vlad, who was becoming a nuisance. They took him back to base in the invisible van, which he informed them could also fly. Yukio's people had reported an unusual incident in a previously undiscovered room at the base. Therein they found a vat of bubbling metal, from which emerged a sentient robot, who introduced himself as Captain Kaladin Holt. This was one of Zarkhov's more radical experiments - he had implanted the soul of a special forces operative into a vat of molten metal. In the last few days the fusion process had completed, resulting in the creation of Kaladin, who believes he was created to help the Specials in their mission.
The Specials hardly had time to register this new addition to their team before Stoke called them with an urgent request- apparently an incident was in progress in Trafalgar Square and he wanted them to investigate. As they flew there in the van, they watched the live TV footage of a group of metahumans speaking to a crowd of onlookers. This group had also been created by Veal, but had recently left him as they felt he was 'holding them back'. They wanted to show the world the true extent of their powers and expected to be treated as the next step in evolution. Their leader, a woman calling herself Nightshade, caused plants to grow and entrap members of the crowd. She introduced the others as Supercharge, a lightning throwing speedster; Spook, a flying ghost; Cassius Clay, a polymorphic boxer; Warlock, a fire mage; Tank Commander, a heavily armoured war machine; and The Puppeteer, a jester who proceeded to animate all the statues in the square to menace the public.
The Specials landed their van and immediately engaged the super villains. Jo used a sonic scream to stun Nightshade and Supercharge, while the others managed to resist. Yukio hid in the van and used an enhanced version of her mind control power to coerce Warlock and The Puppeteer to switch sides. Tommy summoned the spirits of his old squad, who all charged into battle with him. Will morphed inside the Tank's armour and proceeded to attack him from within, while Kaladin launched himself at the armoured brute and unleashed a mighty strike, knocking him to the ground. The Speedster fired lightning bolts at Tommy and Kaladin, which Tommy dodged and the construct absorbed. The Spook plagued Tommy's squad with visions of the horrors of war. The other baddies were kept stunned by Jo or controlled by Yukio. Clay went hand-to-hand with Tommy, who fought back, aided by Kaladin who eventually took out the boxer with another super-powered blast which reduced him to a heap of baked rubble. Warlock, under Yukio's control, blasted the Spook out of the sky with a fireball. The lions and statues joined the battle, with Nelson delivering a powerful strike with his sword. The Tank, battered and beaten, was finally knocked out. Supercharge managed to evade attacks from Tommy, Will and Jo before finally being taken down. Nightshade caused tree-like vines to surround her and raise her up, shooting thorns at the Specials, but Yukio caused the Warlock to set fire to the plants and she was consumed in the flames.
With all the villains defeated, Will returned Nelson to his column and Yukio used her telekinesis to put all the statues back in place, as the media transmitted their heroic acts to the world...

Issue 19 - "Cleaning the scum off the streets"
Yukio healed the injured, and the Specials gave interviews to the world media after their heroic defeat of the rogue team in Trafalgar Square. They questioned the surviving members and discovered that they had been created by Veal who was holed up in a secret location at another hospital. Apparently there were at least four others who were loyal to Veal, and another six who had also gone rogue. Warlock then managed to break free of Yukio's mind control, and teleported away before the Specials could react, taking The Puppeteer with him. Yukio implanted thoughts into Tank Commander and Supercharge, influencing them to use their powers for good, and they were handed over to the army.
After resting up back at the base, they asked Vlad to work on upgrading the van and some of the power suits. However, Major Stoke contacted them with a request from Colonel Strickland, so they flew back to Birmingham in the van. The Colonel informed them that there had been a few unusual incidents over the last two days: some robbers had been found dismembered inside a store they were raiding, and several prostitutes and drug users had been burned to death. On the way to check out the abandoned factory site where the latter incident had taken place, they overheard a message from Cherry Starr, who appeared to have been coerced into expounding the views of a fascist known as 'The Cardinal'.
At the abandoned factory, Jo disguised herself and questioned some of the homeless. They had witnessed the deaths of two of their companions at the hands of a man who could fly and shoot fire. Presently, two others arrived: a doctor and a vicar, and began expounding their views on how the streets needed to be cleaned of the scum, and how the homeless and disabled were a drain on society. They were joined by the Cardinal, who flew down from above, and the Specials launched their attack. Kaladin used his thrusters to fly straight at the Cardinal and used an empowered attack to slice the fiend in half. Meanwhile, the doctor had grown to immense size and the vicar had revealed that he had a huge swollen brain. Jo had used a sonic shield to surround the two, and they were damaged by it as they ran forwards. Mr Dead was controlled by The Brain and forced to attack a group of women, who he swiftly dismembered. Hyde leapt up onto the roof to fight Kaladin, who again used powerful attacks to destroy the monster, helped by Jo’s sonic screams. Yukio ran out and healed the women that Mr Dead had maimed, while he, now free of the mind control, delivered an uppercut to The Brain which decapitated him.
As the police arrived, our heroes overheard a message on the radio: ‘Incident in progress at Lloyd's Bank. All units attend…’

Didn't we say on the way into our base to Vlad to repair Dan's character? - at least enough to get him conscious? - I get the feeling we might well need a heavy hitter like him pretty damn quick...

That spare power crystal would be very useful in the recovery process

Issue 20 - "Send in the Clones"
The Specials jumped into the invisivanTM and quickly arrived at the bank. Scouting ahead, Jo observed a robber meeting a gruesome end at the hands of Chimera, a monstrous entity composed of a mass of teeth, tentacles and organs. As Jo swooped in and rescued the other bank robber, the other escapee from Veal's experiments began to clone himself. By the time the others arrived, there were eighteen clones, along with Raven, another villain who had been spotted circling above.
Cars, lampposts and trees began to animate and join the attack, but Mr Dead picked up one of the vehicles and hurled it, destroying six of the clones. Tommy summoned his squad to help, while Kaladin called in an upgrade of a huge mech suit. As Tommy's squad engaged the clones and animated trees, Will fought with Chimera on the bank's roof and Kaladin skewered a car and used it to batter Raven. Yukio used her telekinesis to hurl enemies at each other and Jo aimed sonic blasts at them. Fireballs rained down on the scene from an unknown source.
(Incidentally, for those of you interested in these things - Clone used a combination of the Split power, to divide himself and his attacks, Conjuring, to summon more copies, and illusion, for even more, non-combat clones.)
Raven caught Mr Dead in a whirlwind, but he was freed when Yukio attacked the bird-woman's mind. Will had taken a grievous wound from the Chimera and retreated to heal himself, while Tommy and his remaining squaddie took on the monster. It grabbed him with a tentacle and tried to suck out his powers, but the old veteran was too tough. Will leapt at Raven, and both Kaladin and Yukio added their powers to his, allowing him to crush her to a bloody pulp. Mr Dead smashed through the clone army, finally defeating the original by crushing his skull. He then hurled a car at a bus-shelter and managed to squash both Warlock and The Puppeteer, who had been hiding there. Aided by the others, Tommy delivered a mighty blow to Chimera and Jo finished the creature off with a sonic blast. As Kaladin's mech suit left the scene, he was left behind, badly damaged.
In the aftermath, Yukio encased the Puppeteer and Warlock in irons and implanted thoughts so they would use their powers for good in the future. She discovered they had escaped from Veal's hideout, but the location of this was erased from their minds. They were handed over to the police. Fearing for Cherry Starr's safety, they analysed the footage of her report but failed to determine the location. Yukio cleverly used her followers on social media to suggest places, and several mentioned a nearby abandoned factory. After Jo had scouted it out, they discovered Cherry and her cameraman tied to chairs in an top-floor office. She was extremely grateful to be rescued by Tommy, to Yukio's disappointment.
They decide to return to the London base and recuperate. However, when they arrived Vlad reported a problem - apparently something had happened to Zarkhov and one of the staff had lost a hand. The door to his cell had purple tendrils growing out of the frame. The Specials readied themselves and opened the door, releasing monstrous grasping tentacles...
3 XP, total so far 56.

3 things:
1) Awesome session, and these recaps are going to be really useful to me as I won’t always be able to finish the session as much as I’d like to, do thanks for putting these up.
2) Having read through the rules, if you are reduced to 0 Stamina exactly you regain consciousness in two rounds, which will be the case for Kaladin. Those bastard tress did a real number on the paint job, but he’s actually ok.
3) I’m taking this opportunity of “Kaladin got wrecked” to rebuild him, so long as you all approve. I want him to be the Tech-Tank of the group with lots of little bonus abilities (or, you know, giant fucking mecha...) so I’ve pushed some stats around and swapped out some powers. He’s now much faster, can raise defensive shields rather than rely on armour and can regenerate muuuch quicker. Should be more fun/distinct to play.

I like the way this lad thinks!
I’m ok with a stat rejig - but it’s Steve you gotta really convince... - but it does fit in with your character concept and there’s been many times in the past someone has done the old stat shuffle after a couple of sessions when they’ve got used to the system and played their character for a while.
Also - it’s been a lot more than 2 rounds since you got knocked out - we flew from Brum to London - so figure on at least an hour... so if you have to keep your current stats, heal yourself like a mo’fo’ - and if your attempted rejig blag comes off, make DAMN sure you have regen or quick heal... because even if you get away with the rejig, there’s no way you’ll be able to change how beaten up you were at the end of the last fight, you know?

I wouldn't normally allow a stat rejig, but it does fit with your character AND you bought lego, so go for it.
