Having a think about the way multiple attacks work in the game. So far I have not allowed this, basically as I wanted things to be kept simple, and it annoyed me in Necessary Evil when you could buy extra actions and so some characters could do four things a round whilst others could only do one (and sometimes none if staggered).
The current rules are: if you buy a super attack or mega attack you can split 2 damage across 2 or 1 damage across 4 targets, using the same attack roll. Some of my boss monsters have had a super enhanced mega attack which has two extra levels so effectively could split between 4 targets and do 3 damage each.
So a simple change would be to keep this system but require separate attack rolls against each person.
So far I have not allowed splitting attacks against the same target (and therefore using up their dodges). Perhaps I should allow this. So you could split it, roll twice, but reduce the damage accordingly.
The ability to do this would not require any special ability other than super or mega attack.
If Tony wanted the power to split his body into parts, then this mechanic could be used in exactly the same way. The advantage of splitting would be that you are presenting two targets in combat so it would be more defensive. Your stamina score would be split between the parts. So for example you could have one body with 8 stamina or two with 4. If the parts attacked, you would split your normal damage as above.
If Lawrence wanted a detachable arm then this could work in a similar way. You could actually have any detachable parts. This power doesn't seem as good as Tony's so I would say that you could detach a part with, say, 2 stamina, but you would regenerate that stamina at the rate of one per round, so you could effectively keep pulling bits off yourself and regrowing them. You can have as many parts as your spirit score (8). After 10 minutes detached parts wither and turn to dust. If you attack, you split the damage as above.
Does that seem okay?
