Here is a link to the updated rules booklet: Slam v1.7Here is the pdf version: Slam pdfThis is a one page summary of the combat rules: Combat summaryAnd in pdf format: Combat pdfAlthough it seems pdf format messes up the formatting so it doesn't fit on one page. Never mind. Let me know if the links don't work.

Thanks for updating it. Looking forward to testing out the new rules next time! My only concern is that Dodgers are left defenceless if they move and act in the same turn, which feels a little harsh if (like me) you have opted out of any armour-based defences. Is this intentional, and if so, any chance I can persuade you to allow Super and Mega dodge to grant dodge chances as *part* of their move action? Otherwise, all good

Yes, to be honest the rule has been there from the start and I never enforced it. I only noticed it when I looked at them again. We should probably just carry on ignoring it, as it does seem a bit harsh. EDIT I have now updated super and mega dodge accordingly.

After a not so subtle blag for extra sorcery point for Yukio I have a question about non lethal damage. Josephine is understandably cautious about using lethal power and remains traumatised by the emergence of her powers in hospital and subsequent deaths. What are the rules when you want to use modified attack without causing damage? If targets are wearing armour and armour prevents secondary effects when damage is soaked how do we attack to subdue?

Good question and one which is not covered very well by my rules. Generally I will rule that if you want to cause non lethal damage you can. When stamina reaches 0 the person is subdued but not critically injured.
