Got thinking about this today: mine is a Werewolf The Apocalypse character.
She'd be quite young (and a werewolf - duh!) - who spent all of her background dots in resources, so she would be just stupidly rich.
She'd spend some of her money on buying a fairly noticeable percentage of Scotland, and would set about rewilding it. And of course - she would sponsor the reintroduction of wolves.
So, she would be creating a pack, but would have no contacts, mentors or any actual knowledge of werewolf society. Obviously the first wild wild pack in the British Isles for over 300 years would not go unnoticed either amongst the Garou... - or the Kindred.
I think it'd be a cracking way for a GM to introduce not just other players, but a huge buttload of other storylines too.
I just can't ever see me getting the chance to play it though.

I never got to play Shadowrun much, I always wanted to play that much more than I got to.

Shadowrun lore, setting and background? - yep.
Shadowrun system? - not so much.

Shadowrun lore, setting and background? - yep. Shadowrun system? - not so much. I cut my teeth on Shadowrun and never minded the system. There was a version of Shadowrun with a different system, Shadowrun Anarchy, more naritive apparently. Don't own it and never read it so I can't really comment on it. I picked up Cyber Generation today, that's a game I always wanted to play but never had the chance to. It started as a sourcebook for Cyberpunk 2020, the second edition was a stand alone game.

Reading Cyberpunk Red and I've got an urge to play a Solo with no cyberware. It'd probably not last as he'd probably have one of his limbs shot off and have to get a cyber replacement.
