OK: here is the central location for all things related to the new MagePunk season.
First: I will blatantly steal Jonny's houserules, and add my own, of:
Perception Checks: Whatever the difficulty, often one person only will notice the Important Thing, despite the dice saying that more than one person passed the DC. I will then take the person who passed to one side and tell them what they have noticed. And only tell them.
Second: if you are not a player who played Season One then you do not know in-character what happened: the archmage ascending and using the stored power in all of the magic items he had created over the course of 100 years to do so? - you know that in Real Life only because it was so much fun to play!
Third: if you are new to MagePunk you need to create a level 8 character: if you want to play a cleric, paladin or warlock then you need to be a member of the Conclave, resident in the Refuge at the time of the Fall: you can be a member of the Clan that is now in the Spyre - it's just that you did not participate in the mission that the others did. Let me know your character ideas so I can create background and stuff for them: Clan members left behind in the Spyre will definitely have backstory created if you want it.
Finally: here's the most up to date version of the campaign background document: enjoy!. I know that there's airship floorplans still in there which are pointless as all Clan airships have stopped working... - but I spent time and effort custom designing them and I think they look fecking excellent, dammit!
The known world section is still relevant, the Clan section is for history and context, the places of interest section is definitely still applicable (apart from the Bone Reef of course...)
