I've also taken a flesh pocket and I use it for smuggling small things - data chips, cash and drugs... - and I would normally carry some ceramic lock-picks in there... - let me know if they survived the strip-search when we got captured... - I have the holdout skill at 12/

Cool, you can have your ceramic lock pick, the incompetent guard who searched you completely missed your flesh pocket.
On a related not I'm glad we don't have a pervy monkey-man in this game he'd make good use of those flesh pockets.

I was wondering why that fecking skill was in red... - I've killed it now and this is my final tweak. A-Grade is a mobile fixer: he is known to run with the Golden Horde nomad pack. They are not quite as extreme as a posergang that all have plastic surgery to look identical - but they do identify with the mindset and tactics of the Mongols - and it turns out gers ["Ger" is Mongolian for yurt.] are damn good mobile living solutions. He would often ride ahead of the pack on his custom Harley-Davidson XLR9i trike with other scouts, doing deals, checking out markets, couriering items. Turns out having a nomad pack at your back is a very effective way of smuggling... And it also turns out that having a nomad pack at your back is not so good when you are out scouting ahead of the main pack with Jag, and a heavily armed SWAT team decides to take them out. Not that they went quietly of course - but even with live video calls for help there was no way to get back in time to be able to do anything apart from get captured, disarmed and put onto a prison transport. On the street and to customers, clients and contacts he is A-Grade: not cheap, but "on time, first time, every time" as he likes to say. To other people in the Pack, he was Khan - not the Khan of course - just Khan. To those closest to him he is Karl Tannhauser... - but since his sister died when he was 12, no one has used that name. He always wears a heavy trenchcoat, which he loads up with the heaviest armour he can. In combat he prefer a heavy pistol or SMG, and will always try and have holdout weapons and blades. He is 21, black with short, snaky dreadlocks, a well groomed beard and mustache and a couple of gold teeth. Whenever possible he has a good quality cigar on the go too. A-Grade.pdf (60.52 KB)

Jaghatai (They/them) is a mobile scout for the Horde of the Golden eyes (aka the Golden Horde). They're 3rd/4th generation Nomad and fully embrace the hordes tenants and ideologies. Be fast, Strike fast, Kill fast. If you stop, if you're slow, you're dead.
Jaghatai was in with the rest of the shock troops of the Nomad tribe until the elders decided to elevate them. Gave them a bike of their own and had some cyberwear grafted into their head and made a long-distance scout for recon and gaining intel.
While out scouting with Khan (A-Grade), the horde was ambushed by a SWAT team and torn apart. A tribe of 200, gone in a blaze of gunfire and laughter. We raced back but only to arrive to late. It was only through Khan that Jaghatai wasn’t killed outright and was taken.
When given the chance, Jag wears a dark leather jacket, jeans and tactical boots. They have mid length dark hair with cropped sides that changes colour every other Thursday. They prefer to fight in motion. Pistol, sawn off shotgun, anything that can be fired from a bike. They were learning to shoot a rifle and being tutored in tactics by Hibou Noyan-Khan. To what end, Jaghatai will never now. Now they need to learn how to survive without a tribe.

I can't play a game with "punk" in the name and not play a Tannhauser! And if he lives...

He had to be a Tanhauser. It was as inevitable as the turning of the seasons, or the tides of the sea...

You definitely need more skills there! - they are very specific in GURPs.

Also - I realised that my paranoia disadvantage was giving me a permanent -4 on reactions... - which is very not good as I am the Face of the group. So: I have removed it and replaced it with a code of honour that I have beefed up from -5 to -10, and rewritten as: "Always come when the pack calls; your pack’s foe is your own; never attack a fellow pack member except in a fair, open duel, never challenge the pack leader, never attack an innocent unless they attack you first." That last "never attack innocents" is what deserves the extra 5 points I think! - and it fits in with someone who lives in a community that definitely DOES include innocents and with a fixers occasional quixotic benevolence. Since paranoia was worth -10 as a disad, I have also increased the scope of my sense of duty to be "Friends, companions and pack", so it is also a -10 disad now and not a -5 like it was before. Scratchin's "Failed" corporate experiment. Pig-Human hybrid, Super-Soldier. Company high ups ordered all my batch to be destroyed, as we showed unwillingness to follow orders. A mix up in the paperwork meant that I and some others were dumped by the incinerator, rather than in the incinerator. We promptly escapted into the Los Angeles underground, in a dramatic midnight film noir montage... Scratchin's is good in melee. can handle firearms ok. He's got skin weave armour.
**I'm mainly done, just need to add skills. This is where I come unstuck with GURPS. Can't get my head around it. Can anyone suggest anything?**
