The 4th Corporate War’s over and the big dogs have retreated to their corners to lick their wounds. That leaves everyone else to fend for themselves in a shattered world.
And that’s just fine. ‘cause you’ve got interface plugs in your wrists, metal in your limbs, and chips in your skull. You’re wired in, loaded with chrome, and ready to take it to the Edge.
There’s a world full of opportunities out there. Maybe this time you can do more than save yourself. Maybe. There's pregen. PCs in this PDF: rtalsoriangames.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RTG-CPRed-SingleShotPackv1.1.pdfI'll try and come up with some plot. Trove seems to have gone down so I can't post a link to the core rules ATM. If you let me know what PC you'd like to play. This is quite a good actual play: youtu.be/KKJ2mLzmVAc

I'll go for the fixer then - as it's usually a role no one fights over...

Racer (a Nomad), Grease (Fixer), and Torch (Techie) are hired by Michiko Sanderson (nee Arasaka) to destroy the servers of a former Arasaka building in Cayucos, to the north of Night City.
After the meet, at Danger Girl's HQ, where Michiko gave them 2lbs of plastique to get the job done, they headed off to Cayucos on a winding route devised by Racer to uncover anyone following them. They took a break after an hour to met and to see if there were any tails.
On the ride Torch constructed a small tracked drone.
They continued on to Cayucos, driving past the target site, Grease and Torch both noticed a glow from a side window of the building, possibly indicating inhabitation. It was decided to put the explosives from Machiko on the drone and a speaker was added to warn inhabitants to evacuate.
Racer parked up, and set up on the roof of her vehicle for overwatch, Grease and Torch approached the target site. All of them noticed a very poorly laid ambush, Racer climbed down into her vehicle and slowly edged it towards the ambush, when she got close enough, she gunned the engine and rammed the dumpster that the ambushers were hiding behind. Killing one outright and severely injuring the other 2. They were finished off and their equipment recovered.
They approached the site from a different direction, Racer parked up and took up an overwatch point on a roof overlooking the target area. Torch and Grease went in, with Torch approaching the window at the side of the building. Unfortunately Torch wasn't very stealthy. He did however manage to reach the window and dropped a flash bang grenade in which stunned the occupants. Grease lifted the tarp that was covering the window and fired 2 shots at the guy with the shotgun, he was lightly injured from one shot and the second rebounded off his armour. They retreated to the corridor as they were stunned. Torch dropped the drone in and it followed them into the corridor. Grease took cover and awaited the impending explosion. Torch also took cover directing the drone the move further into the building as the inhabitants fell back some more.
Noticing that the room the drone had entered contained servers and networking equipment Torch alerted Grease (who held the detonator for the explosives) and he detonated the drone. Following the explosion, that completely destroyed the building and the servers within, they returned to racers RV and they rode off into the sunset.
Mulling over what he had seen Torch realised that the servers were attached to modified brain dance equipment. Brain dance is used to record and play back sensory data and experiences.

Very fun one-shot - and a much better ruleset for running Cyberpunk than GURPs! - absolutely up to do this again - cheers for running.
