I've been thinking of safety tools a lot lately, mostly because I like horror roleplaying and dark themes in a game. I've watched a couple of interesting videos on this, the first one the guy tends to ramble a bit and then seems to conflate all the tools into an unholy mess but he does bring up 4 tools worth thinking about: www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjI-Dl0XJBU&t=884sThe second video the lady seems to present much better and classifies the tools, I haven't finished watching this one yet as I had to go to work: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFDbukm5zGI&t=232sThis one is a bit longer, only watched the first few minutes so far but it seems good: youtu.be/g-mjkcjWaZ0Any body got any thoughts? Preferred tools? I think lines an veils could be a useful way of trying to avoid issues, and script change could be a useful reactionary tool especially with one player joining remotely.
